Considering teeth bonding for chipped teeth does it look real or noticablely fake?

my front two teeth on the top got chipped off, so its smaller now and i was wondering instaed of getting venneers if i ask my dentist to do teeth bonding for the front will it work? I heard it is cheaper and i dont have money too afford venners so that is why i am considering teeth bonding. i remeber my dentist used some kind of cotton or filling when i had a cavity in the front of my teeth and than he filled it up and used some kind of really bright light and i had to wear glasses. When he was done it looked just like my teeth and i didnt notice the filling at ALL. is it possible for the dentist to contruct my teeth size and then do a mold and put it on my teeth so it will look good again? Any body with this type of experience or knowledge of teeth bonding please help! Thanks!

Reply:ya i use to be an asisstant and its not that the make a model of your teeth but they have to put what they call composite on your teeth its also used for fillings and the light is a curing light to make the compostie dry and harden the dentist can put it on your teeth and then shape it how you want your teeth to look. you%26#039;ll have to be careful the way you eat as not to break it lose like biting into an apple or stuff like that.
